CONFERENCES AND THE ART & ARCHITECTURE JOURNAL
THE A&AJ CONFERENCE PROGRAMME
The Art & Architecture Journal (A&AJ) organises the A&AJ Conference Programme, a series of conferences focusing on public art trends in Europe, particularly the UK, and concentrating on the interface of art with urban culture. The aim is to develop and maintain pertinent debates on art in the public environment by holding regular, interlinked conferences that highlight the salient issues and projects.
The purpose of the conferences is twofold:
- firstly, to present current thinking on art and culture in the public realm with UK and international examples of innovative activity.
- secondly, to create a professional networking forum for artists and commissioning organisations involved in this area, where they can share knowledge and exchange experiences.
Each A&AJ conference is linked to an issue of the A&AJ, with prior funding arranged through professional partners. The A&AJ is therefore a bespoke publication, which organises a programme of bespoke, partnered conferences. It's editorial themes support and document the A&AJ Conference Programme
The A&AJ is continually looking for partners to collaborate with in hosting, partnering and contributing to, the magazine and it's conferences. Click here for information on:
